As best practice we always recommend that you refer to the operating manual as best practice. You must make sure that this machine is turned off and unplugged. The outside of the machine should never be jet washed or cleaned with water in any way as its not water tight do not use abrasives or any other products. The outside of this machine can be cleaned with a warm damp cloth after food residues have been scraped away.
